Hello, I’m Lisa, a freelance photographer based in Maryland.
People describe me as unconventional, funny, and daring—someone who will go to any length to get “the shot.” While that’s true, what truly drives me is connecting with my subjects on a deeper level.
When not behind the lens, my inspiration and happy place is with my son, our golden retriever, three cats, and our 40+ year-old box turtle, Fred.
For me, photography is about more than just taking pictures; it’s about understanding what’s important to you and capturing the essence of who you are. My experience as a freelance photographer and photo editor for The Washington Post enabled me to hone my storytelling skills. So, I “retired” in 2023 and now work for myself.
My goal is to produce images that not only reflect your unique personality but also capture your essence for future generations. I aim to create an inclusive space where you can feel confident, creative and comfortable.
